Support for three charities this year

For 2022, MCJ Lemagnen Associates is supporting three international charities – Ireland for Ukraine, Ripple Effect and UNICEF – providing much needed help for people in great need. Across our projects this year, we will be making donations to each of them. Please take a look at the links and help us to help them by sharing their links with your own networks.

Thank you for your support – Julia and Michel.

Ireland for Ukraine: All donations will go into a fund managed by the Community Foundation for Ireland (Charity No: CHY 13967 | Charities Regulator No.: 20044886). From this fund, 50% will be allocated to our charity partners working on the ground in Ukraine. The remaining 50% will be allocated to charities and community groups working to support refugees from this crisis in Ireland, on a grant basis. For more information, see www.irelandforukraine.ie

Ripple Effect: Ripple Effect works with smallholder farmers in rural Africa to enable them to learn more, grow more and sell more. It starts when Ripple Effect brings farmers together with community trainers and experienced peer farmers to share ideas and learn new skills, with a focus on practical approaches. Through the work and training that Ripple Effect supports, these farmers are able to feed their families nutritious food, and with a surplus to sell can invest in their farms, send their children to school and build sustainable agri-businesses. This effect then grows, because for every family Ripple Effect works with, three more families benefit too. For more information, visit https://rippleeffect.org/

UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, works to build a better world for every child, every day, everywhere. UNICEF provides more children with clean water, life-saving food and vaccines, education and protection from violence than any other humanitarian organisation. https://www.unicef.org.uk/about-unicef-uk/
