Almost 40% of US businesses with a base in the UK say they are considering moving elsewhere in the European Union because of the UK’s decision to leave the EU. This is according to a survey reported in ‘The Independent’ on 14th December 2016. The research was conducted by law firm Gowling WLG. Trading links in the food and drink industry, life sciences and financial services are said to be most likely to be affected.
